Kath lives and breathes email marketing, with over 23 years email marketing experience and 10 years on the UK DMA Email Marketing Council, she has participated as a judge numerous times for DMA Awards, is regarded as an international industry thought leader. She was the Winner of the EEC’s Thought Leader of the Year Award in 2021, as well as being Finalist in 2019.  Kath is the author of the best-selling book, Holistic Email Marketing: A practical philosophy to revolutionise your business and delight your customers, available on Amazon. Her book also won the Highly Recommended award for the Sales & Marketing category in the Business Book Awards, 2021.

In 2009, whilst everyone was using the phrase; “Multi-channel” and “Omni-channel”, Kath introduced a new concept to the industry – the Holistic Approach. Thus, Holistic Email Marketing was born and she not only practices this approach with her consultancy, but also teaches it to her students and clients. Today, you can hear and read about the Holistic Approach everywhere, as it is a sound concept that has been received well by the industry. She is one of the World’s Top 50 Email Marketing Influencers (Vocus, 2014).

Kath is recognised as one of the UK’s leading Email Marketers and heads up training for Econsultancy on Email Marketing. She has been the leading trainer in personalisation for the past 4 years and over the past 8 years she has taught courses for the IDM (including the Award), Econsultancy, Digital Doughnut, B2B Marketing and Emarketeers. Kath has also lectured for the MSc in Digital Marketing Communications which is accredited by the Manchester Metropolitan University.
